The Ornithology EP is an exploration of our relationship with birds as their closest neighbors. The more and more I indulge in electronic music, the closer I have become with my surroundings.
Through auditory stimulation and understanding of my relationship with nature, the city brings about few, but poignant moments I can experience with living animals. Birds have always been some of the most common animals, besides humans, experienced on a daily basis. Taking from my surroundings, I wanted to capture some different elements to those creatures.
Each track presented has a key intended component relating to birds.
Thank you for listening and supporting my ideas thus far. I am excited to have the opportunity to make dance music with a theme/concept, where I feel most music should come from. The execution of this EP was important to me as I feel the market in saturated with forgettable music, my own often falling into that category. Here’s to more concepts!
